Head Chef / Kitchen Manager (Full-Time) – Baccara Deli, Marbella (Golden Mile)
Baccara Deli & Market is a modern, premium deli located on Marbella’s Golden Mile, known for its high standards, strong focus on presentation, and a fast-paced environment combining deli, market, and brunch service.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations and help shape the next chapter of Baccara.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to Baccara’s standards
- Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
- Organize workflows to deliver efficient and consistent service
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste
- Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement of the food offering
- Train and onboard new team members, ensuring routines and procedures are followed
- Work closely with management to achieve operational and financial goals
- Formal culinary training (required)
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a professional kitchen
- Experience from brunch, café, deli, or high-volume operations is an advantage
- Fluent English is essential; Spanish is considered a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality
- Structured, disciplined, and capable of implementing and maintaining standards
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to lead by example
- Full-time employment under Spanish labour regulations

As Baccara operates 365 days a year, flexibility regarding weekends and public holidays is required. However, this position is focused mainly on daytime service rather than late-night operations.
