Head Chef / Kitchen Manager (Full-Time) – Baccara Deli, Marbella (Golden Mile)

Baccara Deli & Market is a modern, premium deli located on Marbella’s Golden Mile, known for its high standards, strong focus on presentation, and a fast-paced environment combining deli, market, and brunch service.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations and help shape the next chapter of Baccara.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to Baccara’s standards
  • Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Organize workflows to deliver efficient and consistent service
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste
  • Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement of the food offering
  • Train and onboard new team members, ensuring routines and procedures are followed
  • Work closely with management to achieve operational and financial goals
Requirements
  • Formal culinary training (required)
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a professional kitchen
  • Experience from brunch, café, deli, or high-volume operations is an advantage
  • Fluent English is essential; Spanish is considered a plus
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality
  • Structured, disciplined, and capable of implementing and maintaining standards
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to lead by example
