Join a key regulatory & compliance tech team within Banco Santander’s SCIB division, part of a strategic international initiative.

Location: Málaga

Contract: Permanent through Qaracter

On-site/Hybrid model

What we’re looking for:

✔ +3 years of experience as a Big Data Developer

✔ Fluent in Spanish and English

✔ Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or similar

✔ Solid knowledge of:

Java / JavaScript

ETL tools

Databases: Oracle (PLSQL), PostgreSQL

GitHub

Agile methodologies (Jira, Confluence...)

✨ Nice to have:

Kafka, Flink, Drools

Microservices (Spring Boot), OpenShift

DevOps practices

Knowledge in S3, Elastic, Angular

Experience in Regulatory Reporting is a big plus

What you’ll do:

Work across the full software lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing and deployment

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and design strategic tech solutions

Optimize and secure code (SAST, Sonar, threat modeling…)

Manage documentation and ALM tools

Execute and support testing phases and incident resolution

Promote release cycles and ensure production readiness
