Graduate Pricing Analyst - Insurance (based in Gibraltar)

This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week needed in the office, based in Gibraltar (Southern Europe) and is NOT a remote role, so you must live in the Gibraltar or Southern Spain area already or be prepared to relocate. RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is an International Insurance Company, that has a great opportunity for a Graduate Pricing Analyst. The company is a progressive and ambitious company that has a policy of promoting from within and has a dedication to professional training and progression.

This is a 100% office based role from 9 - 5.30pm.

What is the plan for the Graduate Pricing Analyst role? 

You will join the Actuarial team and provide analysis, insight and competitive advantage to the company by producing analysis and reports which maximise the profitability of the Company. To produce key company reports to the Head of Technical Pricing, write reports solving key company questions, learn industry analysis techniques and the SAS software.

What will you do as a Graduate Pricing Analyst? 

Production of key business analysis reports

Ad hoc project work researching and providing analysis to motor function

Maintenance of analysis programs and models written in SAS software and using relevant WTW software packages

Writing new analysis code using SAS software

Presenting results in SAS server, Excel and written reports

Production of findings in a clear and logical manner

What do you know that makes you a great Graduate Pricing Analyst? 

- Degree level in a Statistical, Mathematical Science or similar subject is essential

- Experience of a statistical role preferred

- Experience of SAS preferred, and ideally EMBLEM 

- Excellent data and statistical analysis skills

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written 

- Ability to present complex concepts at a level appropriate for the audience 

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to adopt a logical approach to solving problems

- Good time management and organisation skills

- Strong IT skills

- Logical thinker with solid reasoning ability

Salary £32k based on experience with benefits package.
