About the Project:

As an Lead JavaScript (Node.js) Engineer, you become a part of a cross-functional development team working for the leading European sportswear manufacturer developing the portal, that provides insight into managed services and infrastructure resources consumption using cutting edge serverless cloud technologies.

• Creates technical solution design as Architecture Decision Record to address software design challenges and ensure its implementation
• Guides development workflow (reviews requirements, planning, highlights edge cases), defines and implements the engineering standards
• Participate in the hiring process and technical interview activities
• Provide high-level technical abstraction based on clients’ needs (pre-sale, etc)
• Responsible for the growth of more junior roles on project and unit demand
• Responsible for supervision and guidance of the team
• Line manager responsibilities

• Software Design
  • Solid background in designing solutions using development standards with scalability in mind
  • Ensures the team’s implementation of suggested architectural decisions
• Software development:
  • Solid experience with Node.JS, preferably with AWS Lambdas
  • In-depth proficiency in building high-performance and secure solutions
  • Experience in creating and executing the technological roadmap based on technical and business requirements
• Quality Assurance:
  • Successful cases in defining testing approaches (tools, types, metrics) and quality gates (SonarQube)
  • Proficient experience in configuring monitoring (although team will have dedicated devopses)
• Software Deployment:
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Proficient experience in defining and implementing release strategy
