Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Málaga.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for Ciklum Client.

The role of Senior DevOps Engineer means that you will join us to support engineering teams with CI/CD tasks, automated testing and automated security analysis and Cloud infrastructure management, including networking and securitization related tasks. We have two main tech stacks currently in use:

  • Github/Terraform/AWS/some GCP services (Big Query).
  • Azure DevOps/Octopus/Azure. 

This role is meant for the one who is comfortable with New JLL projects focused in tech stack 1, so this DevOps engineer position should cover requirements for this tech stack. Legacy applications use tech stack 2, so knowledge using these tools/platforms will be valuable.

About the Project:

JLL is a fortune 500 world leader in real estate services. It buys, builds, occupies and invests in a variety of assets including industrial, commercial, retail, residential and hospitality. Running more than 7 projects in parallel: Web based projects (Vue.js, Angular, React), modernization and internalization of existing apps. Active collaboration in ESG projects as well.

 

Responsibilities
  • Deploy cloud infrastructure using scripts and Infrastructure as Code
  • Analyze and manage networking, traffic flow and corporate firewall requests for project infrastructure
  • Create and manage build pipelines including pull request rejection based on security analysis, automated test and other automations
  • Create and manage release/deploy pipelines
  • Interact with JLL central managed resources teams to fulfill project requirements like API Management team, Identity Provider team, App Security team, Shared Artifacts team, Kafka Management team
Requirements
  • 5+ years engineering background, experience in build and support production environment
  • 5+ years engineering background, experience in troubleshooting as DevOps
  • Experience working with container orchestrators and related services (Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, Helm, ALB controller, Cillium, ExternalDNS etc.)
  • Experience in administering the AWS Cloud Platform
  • Experience in implementing infrastructure as code (Terraform)
  • Experience in Monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus/Grafana/Loki stack, Splunk)
  • Understanding the principles of building fault-tolerant systems
  • General understanding of networking (routing, subnets, gateways)
  • Experience in building CI/CD systems and processes
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Knowledge and experience with relational database administration (MSSQL)
Desirable
  • Azure/GCP knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages
  • Experience with SRE practices (Observability, Continuous Improvement, Waste Reduction)
  • Knowledge/experience with NoSQL
  • Experience with Redis, AWS ElasticCache or any other key value DBs
  • Experience in building CI/CD using native AWS (CodeDeploy, CodePipeline)
  • Cloud providers' certification (AWS)
  • Knowledge of development methodologies, particularly with Agile/Scrum
  • Accountability to define every Sprint, tasks and how they will be implemented
