Senior Product Manager en Málaga

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team full-time in Spain.

About the role:

As a Senior Product Manager, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for Our Client.

The Product Manager is responsible for maximizing the value of what the development team delivers and that the end result meets the objectives and that this result adds value for the target organization.

The PM is responsible for realizing the product, taking the vision of the business into account, clarifying this to the Development Team, with the aim of enabling the success of the business whilst upholding a sustainable and responsible product development. The PM is responsible for the product vision, for what functionality is to be developed to support that and with what priority.

Environment: web applications with state-of-the-art java script tech stacks, mobile application for tablet PCs.

• You will strengthen our agile, international team as senior requirements engineer
• Together with the team and our application owner you digitize the field service processes of our international locations. You take over the interface between the business and the development team and translate the requirements into your own structures
• You are taking a coordinating role who knows the needs of our international markets very well and knows how to convey them, so that the team can develop the best possible solutions
• You speak the language of the business as well as IT and can translate between both parties
• You understand the requirements and business processes of our international markets and advise your stakeholders on the best possible solutions
• You`ll take an active role in removing impediments that impact the successful completion of the team`s release/sprint goals
• You will also ensure that backlog items are prioritized based on the vision and needs of our international stakeholders
• It’s fun for you to familiarize yourself with complex processes and to bring large and small issues to a successful conclusion
• The autonomous clarification of complex issues and the preparation of the results in user stories & epics are part of your area of responsibility. You ensure that the team is always informed, and you take an active role in the selection and specification of actual user stories

• Bachelor`s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience building/shipping technical products
• 3+ years of Product Management experience with direct product ownership
• IT industry experience, a clear understanding of agile SDLC methods and frameworks scrum would be a valuable asset
• Experience of building HR / Recruitment / Resourcing products will be a great value
• A clear understanding of principles and specifics of software development methodologies
• Extensive knowledge of business analysis activities and techniques
• Data management
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to combine creativity, innovation, and analytics without losing sight of the user
• Strong analytical skills to make a critical assessment of the information from numerous sources
• Setting clear goals and priorities. Time-management, ability to handle multi-tasking activities and prioritization
• Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams
• Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels

Skills:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable education
• You have at least five years of professional experience in the field of software development
• You enjoy working in a distributed development team (Germany, Spain, Poland)
• You have a basic understanding of complex and technical issues
• You love working as part of an agile team and are not afraid to make your work transparent

• You are creative, reliable, motivated and solution oriented

• You have good knowledge of English, which you can use in speaking and writing
