We are currently looking for an experienced and self-motivated Vendor Flex Operations Manager to join our team and play a critical role within the South EU External Fulfilment (EF) team.
You will report to the EF Manager of Spain and you will be responsible for the relationship with our vendor providers in Spain and managing the leads in each VFlex. A VFlex is a node inside a vendor fulfillment center from where Amazon ships customer orders directly to their customers.
Interfacing with Spanish FC operations and Retail teams, as well as EU External Fulfillment, Supply Chain and Transportation teams, you will be the node owner of four to six VFlex: You will manage the leads in the nodes, run daily the operations/processes, improve the customer experience KPIs, optimize the transportation connections, ensure the throughput from the node, manage the relationship with the vendor, etc

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of operations leadership experience in a similar fast-paced process driven manufacturing, production or distribution/logistics environment
· Excellent fulfillment operations knowledge
· Strong data analysis skills - Ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data
· Good computer literacy: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
· Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.
· Business case decision-making, complex problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels
· Team player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines
· Fluent Spanish and English essential, other languages desirable

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
· Technical expertise - Solution-driven approach to systems & processes
· Experience with analytical tools such as data warehouse tables; SQL / Visual Basic
· Good Level of Italian and/or French would be an asset
· Practiced working knowledge of Lean techniques such as Kaizen or Six Sigma
