AREA DESCRIPTION
The 4th Platform Internal Use Cases unit identifies, prioritizes and develops key internal use cases leveraged on Big Data, Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence techniques applied on top of the normalized data environment of the 4th Platform to improve Telefonica’s performance in terms of revenues generation, cost savings and/or improved customer experience, supporting the company transformation to actually differentiate and compete though an AI-driven lense.
MISSION
The Web Frontend Developer will implement the web user interface of the 4P Internal Use Cases products and prototypes, guaranteeing an optimal user experience.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translates designs, interaction models, draws, wireframes and interface specifications into fully functional web applications, including both the backend software to access data stored in relational and non relational databases and the frontend software to show and present data to the user.
- Collaborates with the rest of the 4P IUC unit, particularly with the product managers and UX experts of the team, to improve the front-end functional specifications and design of every 4P IUC product.
- Proactively collaborates with other web developers experts within Telefonica's CDO teams to define solutions and cross use cases implementations, while keeping up with the evolution of development methodologies and tools.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Sharp design skills and creativity along with highly developed conceptual skills which enable to structure powerfully the implementations roadmaps.
- Driven, high energy and results oriented with an ability to lead multiple activities while maintaining a focus on high quality delivery.
- Used to work under pressure. Enthusiastic, self-starter, proactive, self-responsible.
- Loving new challenges.
- Friendly with a positive attitude to life.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Angular, React and Django.
- Experience with NodeJs.
- Experience with MongoDB, MySQL.
- Knowledge of REST API paradigm.
- Nice to have: knowledge of the big data ecosystem - Spark, Yarn, HDFS, etc.
- Nice to have: knowledge of testing techniques - Jasmine, Selenium
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
3 years as frontend developer.
