The overall Agile organization is using the following principles:Tribes, Squads, Chapters and Community of Expertise.

In a Squad, the members (from 5 to 9) all sit together to design,develop, test, and release to production a valuable software. In the Squad, theProduct Owner prioritizies the work.

The Tribe is a collection of Squads (limited to 100 people) that work inrelated areas.

The Scrum master  is responsible for ensuring Scrum isunderstood and enacted and is part of the scrum team.

The Agile Coach is part of the Retail Delivery team, which as part ofthe Tribe helps the teams to be more efficient using Agile principes

 

 

Role Summary

The roleof the scrum master must follow the indications in the "":

The Scrum Master is responsiblefor ensuring Scrum is understood and enacted. Scrum Masters do this by ensuringthat the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules.
The Scrum Master is a servant-leader for the Scrum Team. The Scrum Master helpsthose outside the Scrum Team understand which of their interactions with theScrum Team are helpful and which aren’t. The Scrum Master helps everyone changethese interactions to maximize the value created by the Scrum Team.

 

ScrumMaster Service to the Product Owner
The Scrum Master serves the Product Owner in several ways, including:

  1. Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management;

  2. Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items;

  3. Understanding product planning in an empirical environment;

  4. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value;

  5. Understanding and practicing agility; and,

  6. Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.

ScrumMaster Service to the Development Team
The Scrum Master serves the Development Team in several ways, including:

1.     Coachingthe Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality;

2.     Helpingthe Development Team to create high-value products;

3.     Removingimpediments to the Development Team’s progress;

4.     FacilitatingScrum events as requested or needed; and,

5.     Coachingthe Development Team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yetfully adopted and understood.

ScrumMaster Service to the Organization
The Scrum Master serves the organization in several ways, including:

  1. Leading and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption;

  2. Planning Scrum implementations within the organization;

  3. Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development;

  4. Causing change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team; and,

  5. Working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.

Knowledge andskill requirements

Education

Scrum master certification.

Coaching experience.

 

Technicalskills

3 or more years of experienceworking as scrum master.

Good knowledge of Agile anddifferent frameworks.

Track record of developing peopleand knowledge through coaching or mentoring.

 

Previousexperience

2-3 years working in a ITengineering culture in an agile and devops environment.

2 or more years experience leadingteams.

 

Otherskills or competencies

Strong team skills

Fluent in English

Excellent communication andfacilitation skills

Retail Bank knowledge
