NaaS - Senior Strategy Consultant

In the last years, many telcos have been doing great network virtualization efforts. These efforts will not only bring the flexibility, scalability and cost reduction needed to meet the exponential traffic growth but will also transform our network into a distributed telco cloud. Telefonica, as one of the leaders of this transformation is now looking for the services and business models that will evolve from this new paradigm.

At Networks Innovation, we are inventing Telefonica’s next generation businesses, doing what no one has done before.  As our industry matures, the borders between the internet, public and private clouds, edge computing, smartphones will blur. We are changing the way we are deploying our services and opening our networks to developers and cloud providers. This is a radical departure from how Telco networks are assembled and managed today.

The team responsible to ideate, design and grow this opportunity is looking for a Senior Strategy Consultant

What you will be doing…

• The person will be responsible for defining Telefonica’s strategy  with respect to new business models with internet and media giants
• Perform market research and analysis to estimate the TAM
• Build business models and negotiate with partners to define PoCs and commercial plans
• Create and present business cases
• Prioritize the efforts of our technical team and follow up the product development tasks per each use case

CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS

• MSc/BSc degree in Telecommunications engineering or other related technical field or equivalent practical experience

• Strategy Consulting - Telecom or IT sector
• Business Consulting - Telecom or IT sector
• Experience in product design and rapid prototyping
• Product manager in commercial, digital, web products

LANGUAGES

• English and Spanish (C1-C2)
