Position to reports                                   Aerodynamic Design Manager

 

 

Main  responsabilities

 

                                                                  *Join the aerodynamic design specialist team, participating in aerodynamic turbine design and development tasks or R+T projects.
                                                                  *To guarantee the fulfilment of the aerodynamic design requirements in the design and development tasks.
                                                                  *To participate in the development of aerodynamic technologies for turbines in the R+T tasks.
                                                                  *To interact with the rest of the disciplines linked to the turbine design and development such as aerothermals, stress analysis or mechanical design.
                                                                  *To Interact  with suppliers depending upon project and program activities.                                                      

                                                                  *To Interact with customers (external and internal) to resolve technical  issues and implements corrective actions.        

 

 

 

Profile requirements

 

Eduactions                                                  Master in engineering (preferrably Aeronautic)

 

Languages                                                  Fluent english

 

Experience                                                  Experience in aeronautical will be valued

 

Technical skills                                          Turbomachinery aerodynamics theory (desirable)
                                                                     Knowledge on heat transfer in turbomachinery, and gas turbine performance (desirable)
                                                                     Programming languages: Python
                                                                     Computer skills: 3D CFD softwares, Ms office, Linux      

 

 

Soft skills                                                    Good written and verbal communication skills.                                         

                                                                     Good problem solving and reasoning abilities                                                

                                                                     Good ability of planning, organizing and controlling activitie
