Key responsibilities

• You will work with our existing sales teams, translating the technical requirements of our largest customers into enterprise solutions.
• Responsible for selling and designing Server and Networking solutions in the assigned segment. Technical emphasis is on Server hardware capabilities and related solution intricacies. Makes technical presentations to customer's technical staff & leadership. Expected to be the Server hardware and solutions expert with complete product line proficiency and technical acumen

This will involve:

• Leverages advanced knowledge of Servers and related solutions to aid in technical environment designs being the subject matter expert in one or more workloads like SAP HANA, Oracle, HPC, SDS, SDN, VDI and Hybrid Cloud environments
• Prepares detailed product specifications for the purpose of selling high end Compute and Networking products and solutions
• Requires an advanced degree of technical competency to respond to customer needs and to discuss product capabilities and applications with technical users/buyers
• Regularly engages at client facilities & delivers high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills
• Uses knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections

Essential requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent within a technical field
• Solid experience in technical consultative presales of enterprise solutions
• Thorough understanding of servers, storage, associated storage area networks and enterprise software
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with sales teams with the ability to define client solutions through RFIs (Request For Information) and RFPs (Request for Proposal)
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
