Descripción del empleo
Read these four lines first. They save us both time:
- This is an internship, NOT a job offer. You must be an enrolled university student with an official learning agreement from your university. Always. No exceptions.
- We do not arrange visas. Ever. You need the legal right to stay in Spain already (EU students, you are fine).
- Yes, we pay. And it grows the longer you stay. Simple table below.
- On-site in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. No remote, no hybrid. You live on the island.
Still here? Good. Now the fun part.
Club Canary is one of the top-rated tour companies in the Canary Islands, 4.8/5 from 1,360+ verified reviews. September is the golden start, but later in 2026 works too. If you are the right person, we find a date.
WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO
Real clients, real money, from your first weeks.
- Live chats and calls with travelers from all over Europe, fast and friendly.
- Bookings: catamarans, jet skis, evening shows, private trips.
- Organize special moments, like proposals on yachts and surprise birthday trips.
- Marketing too: SEO content, funnels, CRM, and yes, we work with Claude and ChatGPT every single day
- Upsell well and clients tip you or request you personally
WHAT WE PAY
Same deal for everyone, no negotiating. It grows with your stay:
- 3 to 5 months: unpaid learning phase, plus around 325€ in free excursions and team outings
- 6 to 9 months: 400€ per month, plus around 600€ in activities
- 10 to 13 months: 600€ per month, plus around 1.000€ in premium experiences
- 14 months or more: 800€ per month, plus around 1.200€ full island lifestyle
Good to know: you can split your total time over two internships within 4 years, and we count them together. Example: you do a 5-month internship now, and come back later for a final internship of 10 months. That is 15 months total, so your second internship pays 800€ per month, and we also pay you back for the first 5 months, calculated at that same monthly rate. This offer is for interns who did a great job the first time and fit the team.
Honest note: accommodation is your own to arrange and it is the biggest cost here. Daily life on the island is actually cheap: food, drinks, going out, all less than most of Europe. Most interns combine our pay with an Erasmus+ or national grant, and then island life is comfortable. But be realistic: you will not get rich or save money during this internship. It is an amazing learning opportunity, and we do give bonuses for sales achievements. And why is the compensation not higher? Simple: you get real responsibilities from day one, and sooner or later every intern makes a mistake that costs money, because we compensate the client or partner when something goes wrong. We never know in advance how many of those mistakes someone will make, so we keep the base fair and let the bonuses reward the ones who perform. That is the honest deal. WHO FITS OUR TEAM
- Fluent or near-fluent English. All training, systems and daily teamwork are in English, so you need to be comfortable, not perfect.
- Spanish is a big plus. Students from the Canary Islands get priority. You already know the island, the culture and the activities we sell, and that is a head start money cannot buy. Good English is still a must, since all training runs in English.
- An entertainer. You make people smile, you think on your feet, you can take a joke and return one.
- Usually 23 or older, and not your first time away from home. Master students, or Bachelor students who already lived or studied abroad.
- You can stay 5 months or longer. One year is gold, and one-year interns have the best shot at a job offer after.
One more thing: we are moving to a much bigger two-floor office before the end of the year. Cinema, gym and the beach around the corner. The interns who join this autumn move in with us.
HOW OUR SELECTION WORKS
No ghosting, no games. This is the exact process:
- If we like your profile, you get an email from us. Straight talk about who we are, what to expect, what not to expect. You pick a day for the first interview.
- First interview with Dora, our manager. Just getting to know each other, in English, Spanish or Italian. Ask her anything: cost of living, life on the island, whatever you want to know.
- Final interview with Roy, the founder. Your goals, your tasks, the deeper stuff.
- If we choose you, you receive an official letter of acceptance with all company details. You then have one week to confirm. We want people who are genuinely excited about this, not people comparing us against three other options.
