Data Analyst Business Banking

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our Digital Sales Team of Business Banking Spain.

Our team focuses on acquisition, activation, and growth of business customers through digital channels.

We:

• Design and execute data-driven campaigns (email, digital journeys, outbound triggers)
• Build target groups and customer segments
• Analyze campaign performance and optimize journeys
• Operate in a Big Data environment (SAS, SQL, Power BI)

As a Data Analyst you will:

Work closely with marketing, digital, and sales teams to define target audiences, execute data-driven campaigns, monitor and optimize performance and deliver actionable insights to increase conversion and commercial impact.

Combine analytical expertise with a strong commercial mindset, ensuring data directly translates into measurable business results.

Campaign Execution & Targeting

• Build and manage target groups for marketing campaigns (selection, segmentation, eligibility rules)
• Prepare and deliver campaign-ready datasets for activation tools
• Ensure correct setup and execution of campaigns across digital channels

Campaign Analytics & Optimization

• Track and analyze campaign performance (conversion, CTR, funnel metrics, ROI)
• Identify optimization levers across targeting, timing, content, and channel mix
• Run analyses to improve acquisition, activation, and cross-sell performance

Customer & Segmentation Insights

• Develop customer segments based on behavior, lifecycle, and needs
• Identify high-potential audiences and propensity-to-buy signals
• Translate business needs into data-driven targeting strategies

Data Preparation & Automation

• Prepare and maintain campaign datasets and marketing bases
• Automate recurring campaign processes (selection, reporting, monitoring)
• Ensure scalability and reliability using SAS (SQL)

Insights & Reporting

• Build dashboards (Power BI) to monitor campaign performance and funnel evolution
• Provide clear, actionable insights to marketing and commercial teams
• Support test-and-learn frameworks (A/B testing, uplift analysis)

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with digital marketeers, campaign managers, and conversion specialists
• Translate commercial questions into data use cases and analyses
• Act as a data partner in campaign planning and optimization cycles

• Strong interest in marketing, campaigns, and digital sales
• Ability to link data analysis to commercial impact and conversion
• Analytical & technical skills. SQL (SAS) – able to build campaign selections
• Experience with large datasets / segmentation / targeting
• Ability to analyze campaign results and identify improvement actions
• Familiarity with KPIs such as conversion, funnel drop-offs, engagement metrics
• Ability to translate data into clear business recommendations
• Strong collaboration with non-technical stakeholders
• Good knowledge of English and Spanish

Nice to have:

• Experience with campaign tools / CRM / marketing automation platforms
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
• Knowledge of SAS / Power BI
• Banking, e-commerce, or marketing analytics experience
