Family Learning Mentor (Part-Time)
Location: Ciudalcampo, Madrid, Spain
We are looking for an exceptional Family Learning Mentor to support the educational and personal development of three wonderful children aged 7, 10 and 12.
This is not a nanny position and it is not a traditional tutoring role.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and believes that helping children develop lifelong learning habits is far more valuable than simply achieving good grades.
This is a long-term, part-time opportunity for an educational professional who wants to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
Your MissionYour role is not to teach school subjects.
Your mission is to help the children become:
- Independent learners
- Organised and responsible students
- Curious and critical thinkers
- Confident learners who genuinely enjoy education
English will be the primary language of communication throughout the afternoon.
Responsibilities- Collect the children from school.
- Communicate in English throughout working hours.

- Develop organisational and planning skills.
- Help the children prioritise tasks and manage their time effectively.
- Encourage responsibility and ownership of their own work.
- Answer questions and explain concepts whenever appropriate.
- Guide them towards finding solutions independently rather than providing answers.
- Encourage reading, curiosity, discussion and intellectual exploration.
An essential aspect of this role is understanding what we are not looking for.
We are not looking for someone who completes homework, dictates answers or solves school exercises.
Instead, we are looking for someone who teaches children how to learn.
This includes helping them to:
- Build consistent study habits.
- Organise their own workload.
- Manage deadlines effectively.
- Develop problem-solving skills.
- Ask thoughtful questions.
- Build confidence in their own abilities.
- Become increasingly independent over time.
We believe these life skills are among the most valuable gifts that education can provide.

- Degree (completed or in progress) in Education, Psychology, Pedagogy or another relevant discipline.
- Experience working with children or adolescents.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning processes.
- Experience teaching executive functioning skills, including organisation, planning, study techniques, independent learning and self-management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, inspiring and emotionally intelligent approach.
- Previous mentoring or coaching experience.
- Driving licence.
- Long-term, part-time position.
- Competitive salary according to experience.
- Opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to three children's educational and personal development.
- Educational autonomy and the opportunity to contribute ideas and learning strategies.
- Start date: September 2026.
We believe that the greatest gift we can offer children is not simply academic success, but the ability to think independently, stay organised, manage their time effectively and develop a lifelong love of learning.
We are looking for an educational professional who shares this philosophy and would enjoy becoming a trusted mentor during these important years of the children's development.
If this opportunity resonates with you, we would be delighted to hear from you.
