About the Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced IT Category Manager / IT Sourcing Specialist to join an international procurement team and take ownership of strategic IT and indirect categories across EMEA. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building category strategies, influencing business decisions and working closely with stakeholders to create long-term value—not simply executing purchasing activities.

You'll become part of a procurement function that is evolving into a true business partner, where you'll have the opportunity to shape supplier strategies, challenge existing ways of working and contribute to procurement transformation initiatives across an international environment.

What you'll be doing

• Define and execute category strategies across IT and selected indirect categories within EMEA.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, Legal and other business functions, acting as a trusted procurement advisor.
• Develop supplier strategies that balance commercial value, innovation and business needs.
• Lead strategic sourcing projects from market analysis through supplier selection, negotiation and implementation.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, cost optimisation, risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
• Monitor supplier markets and technology trends to support long-term category development.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the procurement function by promoting best practices and a strategic sourcing mindset.

We're looking for someone who...

• Has experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing or Indirect Procurement within an international environment.
• Has managed IT-related categories such as Software, SaaS, Cloud, IT Services, Telecom or Technology Vendors.
• Enjoys owning categories strategically rather than focusing solely on operational purchasing.
• Is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and working across matrix organisations.
• Has experience navigating changing environments, supporting procurement transformation or driving process improvements.
• Brings a proactive, pragmatic and collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge, influence and build trusted relationships.
