Amaris Consulting Barcelona is hiring a Biostatistics Intern (6-month internship starting September 2026).


As a Biostatistics Intern, you will join the HEMA (Health Economics & Market Access -

https://www.amaris.com/business-line/life-sciences/)

team, working alongside experienced consultants on international projects supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.


Our HEMA team has a worldwide presence with offices in Montreal, Toronto, London, Paris, Barcelona, Sofia, and Shanghai. We provide expertise across four key areas: Evidence Review & Value Communication, Strategic Market Access, Health Economics, and Biostatistics. Our mission is to strengthen healthcare decision-making through robust evidence generation and statistical analyses that support market access and reimbursement strategies.



Your Responsibilities:

  • Support biostatistical analyses for Health Economics & Market Access projects.
  • Perform statistical analyses using clinical and real-world data.
  • Contribute to evidence synthesis, systematic literature reviews, and meta-analyses.
  • Assist in developing statistical analysis plans and interpreting study results.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, study documentation, and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Health Economists, Market Access Consultants, and Medical Writers.
  • Contribute to the development of scientific presentations and publications.
  • Participate in internal knowledge sharing and methodological improvements.



Your Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods and study design.
  • Familiarity with statistical software such as R, SAS, STATA, or Python.
  • Interest in Health Economics, Market Access, Real-World Evidence, and outcomes research.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within an international team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • French is a plus.
