Business Development Manager


Location: North Costa Brava, Alicante (100% On-site)


We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a growing international organization based in North Costa Brava, Alicante.


This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional who excels at building relationships, engaging with prospective clients, and guiding them through a consultative decision-making process.


The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by managing prospective clients from initial enquiry through to conversion, delivering an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the journey.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with prospective clients from first contact through to conversion.
  • Conduct a high volume of outbound and follow-up calls with interested prospects.
  • Build trust-based relationships and maintain regular communication throughout the customer journey.
  • Understand individual client needs and provide tailored information, guidance, and support.
  • Drive conversion through a consultative sales approach focused on advising and supporting clients in their decision-making process.
  • Consistently follow up on leads and opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.


About You

  • Proven track record in sales, business development, account management, customer acquisition, or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong experience managing leads and converting enquiries into successful outcomes.
  • Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone speaking with prospective clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Consultative sales mindset, with the ability to influence and guide rather than aggressively sell.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and highly organized.
  • Experience working in an international environment is highly desirable.


Requirements

  • Fluent English (high C1-C2 level) is essential.
  • Additional languages are a strong advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work full-time in a 100% on-site role in the North Costa Blanca area.
  • Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce or Hubspot is desirable
