ORTEC branch in Spain is specialized in Engineering services, maintenance engineering, integrated logistics support, supportability, reliability and maintainability engineering and Technical Translations within aerospace & defense fields. Our team is in charge of developing different engineering works for the creation, update or optimization of aircraft Maintenance Programs, using specific methodologies, for different customers - main European aircraft manufacturers or vendors.

We are currently seeking a NATO Identifier to join our team in Spain. As a NATO Cataloguer, you will be responsible for managing daily cataloguing actions from foreign cataloguing offices or Spanish second-level offices. You will also provide support for the international maintenance of the Identification of Articles (IIC) and Support File (SSR) guides, assign company identifier codes within the NATO Cataloguing System (NCAGE), and provide support to other cataloguing levels.

Job Requirements:

• Official Materials Identifier Qualification from the Ministry of Defense (Curso de identificadores de Catalogación OTAN, Gestión logística, de materiales y de la cadena de suministro).
• Professional experience as a Materials Identifier according to the NATO Cataloguing System using SICAD.
• Professional experience in an area related to Automotive, Mechanics, or Telecommunications.
• Minimum studies required: Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum experience required: At least 2 years.
• Required language: High level of Spanish & Intermediate level of English (B2).

Valuable Additional Skills:

• Experience as a Materials Identifier according to the NATO Cataloguing System using SICAD.
• Experience in an area related to Aeronautics, Automotive, Mechanics, or Telecommunications.
• Support in the cataloging processes of the different armies.
• Monitoring of cataloging works.
• Review and search of technical documentation.
• Coordination between companies and the Ministry of Defense.
• Debugging of cataloging data.
• Assistance to users.
• Support during the development phase of the SICAD tool.
• Collaboration during the implementation of the SICAD tool.
