What you'll do:
- Work with a team of engineers to develop high-quality software.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle – gathering requirements, designing solutions, building new interfaces, integration with existing architectures, development, and testing code.
- Build scalable, highly available and resilient applications by utilizing the optimal cloud technologies and programming languages and frameworks that best suit your use cases.
- Design technical solutions to solve complex technical problems at scale.
- Build iteratively using agile methodologies.
What you'll need:
- Experience with cloud technology; Azure preferred, otherwise AWS or GCP.
- Experience with data science and engineering pipelines; experience with Databricks is a plus.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including object‑oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
- Solid Python coding skills; knowledge of Java and/or Scala is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, and working with various SQL databases.
- Experience with geographic information systems, MLOps platforms, Spark, and Scala programming.
- Comfortable with written and verbal communication in English.
- Desire to learn and expand your skill set.
