The Junior Finance Manager / Finance Specialist will support the financial operations of a multinational organization with presence across several European markets. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial information, supporting accounting and reporting processes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across different jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities across multiple European entities.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax and statutory requirements in different jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and review the work performed by external accounting providers, tax advisors and local consultants.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and local regulatory filings.
- Liaise with auditors during annual audits and support audit requests.
- Identify and resolve accounting issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve accounting processes and controls.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and management information as required.
What the Role Requires
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Accounting, General Ledger or Finance Operations roles.
- Hands-on experience managing month-end and year-end closings.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities and/or different European countries.
- Understanding of local accounting regulations, statutory reporting and tax compliance requirements.
- Experience coordinating external accounting firms, advisors and auditors.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency in English. Xsgfvud
