Verisure is seeking a creative, technology obsessed, customer driven and commercially aware Product Managers.

Job purpose:

Verisure is a major global player in the smart security and smart home space, with a large installed customer base (of more than 2.5 million customers, across Europe and Latin America), impressive customer retention / low churn, a highly effective go-to-market approach and the industry-leading growth speed (averaging 17% annually over the past 17 years).

At Verisure we have a large team of product managers, hardware and software engineers that work together to imagine, design and build the products and services used by our customers. As a Technology Strategy Associate, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the leader of this team, our Chief Products and Services Officer. You will be a key member of his team, working in the intersection of business and technology.

You will be responsible for leading transversal business and technology strategic projects, from analysis to stakeholder engagement and project management. This is a fast track and challenging job to develop quickly into a growing and successful opportunity – a chance to have real impact in the business! The role will have a high level of exposure and leadership on key transversal strategic projects, and will also support the development of communications to key external and internal shareholders and stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with 3-5 years experience and a passion for Technology!

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead-on strategic projects in the intersection of business and technology, covering data analysis, strategic recommendations and execution
• Align stakeholders across all functional areas to ensure project execution
• Raise the bar on our internal planning and operational processes
• Proactively identify new issues to work on
• Support in overall executive alignment and management of the Governance framework (e.g. Steering Committees, Board meetings, etc)

Location:

• Ideally Madrid, but candidate could also be based in Malmö where our other engineering development center is located

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience
• Excellent academic credentials - top tier education background with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (ideally engineering or business administration)
• Commonly seen as analytically strong
• High EQ, possesses high level of judgement and discretion, manages confidentiality
• Very strong people and process skills
• Strong track record around project management and presentation skills
• Evidence of international experience (either living overseas or working in multinationals)
• Hard working
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to present findings both verbally and in writing, to both engineers and business leaders
• Familiarity and passion for technology and the IoT space
• Fluency in Spanish and English

Desirable requirements:

• Experience in cross business-technology environments (e.g. product management or business development in a technology firm)
• Knowledge of Product Development techniques and schools of thought (Stage Gate, Agile, etc)
