Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is an exclusive 5-star hotel located on Passeig de Gràcia, in the heart of the city. The hotel features 120 rooms and suites designed by Patricia Urquiola, Michelin-starred gastronomy, bars, spa facilities, and exceptional event spaces.

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona , within the Finance Department , the Finance Trainee supports the Income Audit function and gains exposure to financial control processes that are central to hotel operations.
This role provides hands-on experience in revenue control across all points of sale, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Spa.
The Finance Trainee reports to the Finance Manager / Income Auditor .

• Gain an introduction to the Income Audit function, a central position in hotel financial control responsible for monitoring and controlling revenues across all outlets.
• Generate the hotels daily revenue report, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Control Food & Beverage allocations related to entertainment and discounts applied daily across the different outlets.
• Review Front Office and Spa adjustments to ensure compliance with internal procedures and financial controls.
• Assist the Income Auditor in the monthly reconciliation and control of Gift Certificates and Gift Card inventories.
• Perform weekly OpenTable audits for Food & Beverage outlets.
• Prepare daily House
