We are looking for people who can make a tangible positive impact in delivering breakthrough innovation in Research & Development to transform and add value, not only to our Company but the industry itself.

Main Responsabilities

• Proactively maintain and develop Perimeter Security technologies and controls.

• Define, implement and maintain security policies, standards and guidelines.
• Investigate incidents to determine their root cause and enhance controls and reporting.

• Assessments of new and existing Perimeter Security technologies (e.g.: Firewalls, IPS, WAF).

• Effective global team collaboration.

Required qualificatons: 

• Experience in the communications industry and moved to security. A pragmatic approach to information security developed through hard won experience of at least 7 years.
• Experience in large scale and critical environments
• Real expertise in the following perimeter security technologies:
  - Next Generation Firewall technology, both physical and virtual (Palo Alto)

                - Proxy and URL filtering solutions
                - VPN technologies including IPSec/SSL/TLS
                - Intrusion Prevention and Detection systems
                - Gateway AV/Malware protection
                - Load Balancing technologies
                - Resilience/High-Availability solutions
                - TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies

• Fluent business English & Spanish

Preferred qualifications:

• Relevant security certification (e.g. PCNSE, ACE, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Familiar with current home security / smart home technologies, future developments and understanding of business models behind them.
• Internet of Things knowledge.
