Intern Software Engineer

Overview

We are a Spanish pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, manufacturing, and marketing of small molecules and biological medical products. We also market licensed pharmaceutical products, imaging contrast agents, and other hospital-use items, as well as OTC pharmaceuticals, through a specialized sales team of more than 260 professionals.

Join our hub in Madrid where we develop Software as a Medical Device to redefine pathology with Artificial Intelligence. You will work within a focused engineering team that prioritizes product excellence and a product‑centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Learn and build features for our AI pathology platform.
• Write clean, tested, and high‑quality code in Python, C++, or TypeScript.
• Collaborate with the team to launch end‑to‑end features, receiving feedback through pair programming and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Software Engineering, or a related field such as Physics or Mathematics.
• Strong foundation in at least one programming language (Python, C++, or TypeScript).
• Strong interest in Software Engineering and AI systems.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, practical attitude with excellent teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
• Functional English to collaborate with international partners.

Contract Type

Internship (fixed‑term contract in training).

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application Development, Mathematics, or Physics.
