Junior Project Engineer in Arcadis’ Water Treatment team supports the design phase of water and wastewater facilities across Spain and Europe. You will work closely with process engineers to develop technical designs and calculations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will help deliver sustainable, high-impact water treatment solutions and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Support the design and optimization of wastewater treatment plants with a focus on sustainability and reliability
• Assist in developing innovative solutions for treating persistent substances, recovering resources and energy, and improving process sustainability

• Contribute to project coordination by preparing action plans and draft proposals

Responsabilidades

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline)
• Some experience or strong interest in water and wastewater treatment project design and optimization
• Basic understanding of water and residual flow treatment processes; willingness to learn more
• Able to follow guidance from senior team members and the Netherlands-based team while developing independence
• Fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of Dutch, German, or Catalan is a plus
• Eager to learn with a result-oriented, customer-focused, and innovative attitude
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and quality
