Junior Lawyer (Barcelona)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Customer Contract Negotiation
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements: NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Construction & Maintenance Agreements, Indefeasible Right of Use Agreements, Landing Party Agreements.
• Supplier Contract Negotiation
  • Managing supplier contracts for construction and services, master service agreements, and related commercial agreements.
• Financial Agreements
  • Engaging with financial institutions including multilateral banks (EIB, ADB, World Bank), commercial banks, equity and debt investors, and development finance institutions.
• Corporate & Regulatory Support
  • Supporting acquisitions, due diligence, compliance matters, incorporation of subsidiaries in various jurisdictions, and liaising with telecommunications regulators (FCC, Anacom, CMT, NCA, NCC).

For main contracts, external support from leading law firms such as DLA Piper and Jones Day is coordinated with the team. Contracts are either under English or French law and 90% are in English.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Law (English mandatory; French highly valued; Spanish not required).
• 2–3 years of legal experience, preferably in an international or corporate setting.
• High attention to detail with the ability to assess legal risk and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Strong emotional intelligence and cross-cultural negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
• A team player who thrives in a multicultural and youthful environment.
