Role Summary

·      The Security Monitoring Specialist (SMS) is a junior role in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

·      Defend customers and infrastructure from cyber threats.

·      Handle escalated alerts and perform investigations.

·      Work with Customer Support and Security Engineers.

Responsibilities

 ·    Monitor security alerts, logs, and events.

·      Analyze logs using SIEM, EDR, WAF.

·      Respond to incidents with customers.

·      Document investigations and remediation.

·      Escalate complex incidents.

·      Communicate with clients.

·      Improve SOC processes.

Required

·      Engineering degree or similar.

·      Network and protocol knowledge.

·      Security architecture understanding.

·      Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, WAF.

·      Advanced English and Spanish.

·      Analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

·      OS knowledge (Windows, Linux, OSX).

·      Cybersecurity experience.

·      Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

·      Knowledge of cyber kill chain, TTPs.

·      Certifications (Security+, GSEC...).
