Amazon Spain - E-Commerce Internship Program en Madrid

About the Role:
We’re looking for ambitious and enthusiastic students to join us at the heart of our core consumer business. As part of the e-commerce internship program your Internship project will be focused in either the Retail team or within the Seller Services team in our new Madrid downtown office.

Retail
Amazon Retail teams work to help improve the selection and shopping experience for customers across our product categories, from Books to Fashion, Electronics to Grocery, Movies and Music to Toys and Health & Beauty, and everything in between.
As an E-commerce intern in one of those categories, you will learn how Amazon handles its e-commerce retail business, and you will develop the analytical and problem-solving skills that our people are known for. You will support Senior Vendor Managers and our Brands as well as Amazonians in other functions, such as In-stock and Marketing, and as you progress, you will be given the opportunity to develop product categories, vendor relationships and promotional campaigns; gaining broad based experience to support your development as a vendor manager. This is all with a view to making sure our customers can find and discover anything and everything they want online.

Seller Services
As an intern you will be contributing to the growth of Amazon’s third party merchants. Amazon’s Seller Services business includes all third party merchant activity through the variety of services we offer: Selling on Amazon, Fulfilment by Amazon, Sponsored Products and Amazon Global Selling. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the fastest growing areas of Amazon, and to cooperate with merchants across a variety of different product categories and from different countries helping to grow their business with Amazon. In addition, we will offer you the possibility to implement improvement projects and be involved in the launch of new programs based on feedback from the merchants you engage with. Through these projects you will cooperate with different teams across Amazon, including category teams, product teams, and technical support teams both in Italy and internationally.

You will drive your own learning and development with guidance and coaching from your tutor, buddy and colleagues. Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited onsite from middle of June unitl July 2018.

· Passionate about on-line business, e-commerce and sales
· Obtained (no more than 12 months ago) or be working towards your degree
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle objections and negotiate
· People who are self-motivated, flexible and place the customer at the centre of everything they do

Opportunities in both Retail and Seller Services demand broad commercial awareness. We hold analytical skills in high regard at Amazon and hire those who can interpret complex information and use this to develop clear, actionable plans.

· Some work experience - whether through placement years, internships or university
· Fluent in a second language
· Experience in data analysis – confident manipulating large sets of data, identifying trends and areas for new business growth
