Construction Project Assistant Intern (M/F)

About the role

As part of the deployment and development of our activity, and to cover a paternity leave, we are looking for a Construction Project Assistant Intern in Madrid.

Integrated into our construction team and working closely with other project managers, you will participate in the following tasks:

Your main responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers in day -to-day project execution across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
  • Support in the coordination interfaces between internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance, PMO, legal, development, asset management).
  • Review and analysis of the monthly progress reports.
  • Track contractual obligations, deliverables and key dates.
  • Assist in variation orders and claims assessments when needed.
  • Prepare materials for internal and external meetings when requested.
  • Ensure clear communication flow without bypassing Project Managers
  • Organize and maintain project documentation (contracts, reports, permits, drawings, all documents of the projects) in our internal data base.
  • Prepare/contribute with high-quality internal reports for management.
  • Support lender reporting through Project Manager.
  • Ensure document control processes are followed.
  • Reporting line: reports to Project Managers.
  • No direct authority over EPC or contractors (unless delegated).
  • Acts as an enabler and coordinator, not a replacement for Project Managers.

Profile Sought

We are looking for a Master's student (Bac+5) in Engineering, ideally specializing in renewable energy (solar) or Civil/Mechanical Engineering, who is seeking a 6-month internship to further develop practical skills.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in project management and is proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Fluency in Spanish (C1 level or native) is required.

We are looking for someone who is rigorous, autonomous, dynamic, and highly motivated to contribute to the success of projects. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and excellent communication and reporting abilities are essential. A methodical and thorough approach to work will be key to succeeding in this role.
