We are looking for an experienced Offshore Client Representative Survey to represent the Client during offshore survey campaigns related to submarine power cable assets.

The role will consist of supervising onboard survey operations, monitoring contractor performance, ensuring compliance with procedures and HSE standards, and issuing clear operational reports throughout the campaign.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Client Representative onboard survey vessels
• Supervise offshore survey activities including inspections, burial assessments, free-span checks, route verification, and integrity surveys
• Monitor contractor performance and compliance with approved procedures
• Verify survey equipment performance and data quality
• Record anomalies such as cable exposure, debris, boulders, and seabed changes
• Prepare Daily Progress Reports, weekly/monthly summaries, and final reports
• Compare survey results with previous as-built / as-laid documentation
• Liaise with Client teams, vessel management, HSE, and survey contractor personnel
• Report any HSE incidents or operational concerns immediately

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore surveys, subsea cable projects, or marine operations
• Strong experience in submarine cable routing, burial, and survey supervision
• Previous experience as Offshore / Client Representative onboard vessels
• Strong reporting and communication skills
• Ability to work in offshore environments under operational pressure

Certifications

• Valid offshore medical
• BOSIET / FOET or equivalent

Languages

• English – Fluent
• Spanish – Preferred
