We are working with a market leading insurance Broker seeking an M&A Insurance Associate in Madrid. It is entering an exciting period of exponential growth. This position is a great opportunity to join a growing company and gain exposure to all facets of the M&A insurance industry.

What is the role?

This is an opportunity with a market leading international Transactional Risk insurance company for an experienced M&A Lawyer to build a career in the Insurance industry whilst still utilising their legal experience.

What will you be doing?

• Advise on, structure, and place Warranty and Indemnity and other transactional risk insurance solutions.
• Support clients throughout the deal lifecycle, from structuring to negotiations and final placement.
• Collaborate with leading law firms and other deal advisors as well as financial investors, corporates, and global insurers.
• Work closely with our regional PEMA hubs on both domestical and regional transactions.
• Take on a highly commercial role while continuing to develop your legal and negotiation skills.

What do you need to apply?

• 1-5 years of M&A experience from a reputable law firm(s) or equivalent in-house role.
• Strong understanding of M&A transaction dynamics and contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Ambitious, commercially minded, and a strong team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment without compromising on quality.
