Procurement Specialist

At China Three Gorges Europe we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Department and support our mission of powering the world with renewable energy. In this role, you will learn and assist in different tasks:


Procurement Project Management:

  • Receive order lists and initiate procurement documentation.
  • Invite suppliers to register in ARIBA and coordinate due diligence.
  • Launch RFPs, review offers, assist with comparisons, and calculate scores.
  • Prepare evaluation reports and manage internal approvals.
  • Coordinate meetings and notify suppliers of outcomes.
  • Archive all project documentation in ARIBA and SharePoint.
  • Collaboration with other departments.

Supplier Management:

  • Review supplier information and documents uploaded to ARIBA.
  • Manage supplier registration approvals.
  • Conduct credit evaluations using the comprehensive scoring method for each project and annually.

Audit & Data Requests:

  • Collaboratively handle audits and data collection tasks requested by headquarters.
  • Monthly reporting to CTGI on the status and details of completed procurement projects.
  • Periodic review of finalized contracts with the contract management team.
  • Updates the procurement registry.

Contract Management Support:

  • Review and correct contract data in the ERP-Ariba system to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Validate contract modifications during approval workflows, including: Project approval confirmation, Budget alignment, Signed compliance letter, Consistency between tender content and awarded results, Compliance clause verification.
  • Finalize contract approval by reviewing drafts, guiding corrections, identifying authorized signatories, and issuing confirmation sheets.
  • Archive signed contracts and related documents; maintain and update the contract ledger, submitting monthly updates to CTGI.
  • Provide guidance to departments on ERP-Ariba usage to ensure proper approval processes.
  • Organize and archive historical contracts, assign contract numbers, and maintain corresponding records.
  • Collaboration with other departments in CTGE, CTGS and CTGI.


Audit Support.

Policy Review & Internal Training.

Creating reports for HQ in China.

Other related tasks required by the team.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.
  • Master's degree will be highly valuated.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional related experience (5 years will be desired).
  • English & Spanish (Advanced Level - C1).
  • Fluent Chinese will be a plus (C2 / Native level).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SAP will be desired.
