We are at Coforge hiring for Murex Functional Consultant with Murex 3 FXFI, trading platform, Hedge Accounting and TSB migration

Job Responsibilities / Role:

• Murex Functional profile to support Murex 3 FXFI and Murex EQ instances.
• The role involves liaison with Client Business Areas, as well as UK and Global technical teams, to provide functional and technical support for the Murex trading platform, and to implement changes for both BAU (Business as Usual) activities and projects.
• We are looking for a relatively junior Murex team member (this is not a junior role as such, as a minimum of 1–2 years of experience is required).
• The purpose of the role is to take on more routine team tasks, thereby freeing up senior resources to focus on analysis and higher-level activities, particularly to support parallel Murex periods for the Sparrow TSB data migration from TSB Murex to Client Murex.
• We are seeking a profile to provide functional and technical support to the Murex trading platform, responsible for handling routine team tasks to support the overall team. This is not a junior profile, as a minimum of one to two years of experience is required.
• Direct interaction with users Resolution of Murex incidents Use of Jira and ServiceNow tools for task and incident management.
• The team is responsible for the Murex Hedge Accounting module, which is exclusive to this business area and is being expanded this year to support Cost of Hedging and IFRS 9 hedge accounting compliance (Macro Hedging go-live).
• The workload has increased due to the Sparrow TSB migration project, requiring experienced team members to lead analysis, data mapping, and migration from TSB Murex to Client Murex.

Mandatory Skills:

• Murex and Financial Markets experience financial products knowledge Trade lifecycle understanding Client-oriented mindset Basic programming skills Strong teamwork skills.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Clear communication of complex concepts with business and IT stakeholders Self-starter with a proactive and adaptable approach.
• Finance or IT degree preferred Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience
