Business Data Analyst

Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our Conversion and Underwriting Team of Mortgages Tribe

You are a true business data analytics expert that has the ability to work closely with stakeholders across Mortgages Process. Maximizing conversion and customer satisfaction is your priority, identifying opportunities to offer our clients a simple and transparent process for obtaining their mortgage with ING.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst, you will proactively connect Business areas and understand their needs, their services and product functioning and the data ecosystem, and can generate accurate data driven analysis and recommendations, as:

• Support the analytical needs of the area through descriptive analysis and diagnosis, generating insights and recommendations that support better decision-making and lead to greater commercial results.
• Product analysis trends to increase sales conversion, reduce product attrition, etc.
• Support and advice business on their reporting needs and any other analytical need and communicate the main findings to various stakeholders.
• Being part of our Data Fluency Program

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or other degree with strong analytical content.
• Full proficiency in PowerBI, SAS, SQL and Excel (knowledge of other programming languages such as R or Python will be appreciated).
• At least 3-4 years of experience in a comparable role, transforming data to extract key business insights using statistical/analytical concepts.
• Your communication skills enable you to work together with many different parties throughout our organization.
• You are able to see things from a different perspective and to make original solutions work in practice.
• Willing and able to learn and to improve your technical and your interpersonal skills.
• Customer centric.
• You have great organizational skills and a structured way of working
• Fluent English will be appreciated.

It will be valued:

• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Microstrategy and statistical modeling techniques.
• You are familiar with data visualization in Powerpoint
• You have advanced skills in creating automated reports in Excel
