OMODA Motors is a new brand built by Chery Group, which is a leading Chinese automobile company. OMODA operates individually from other brands of Chery Group. Its business scope covers the R&D, production and sales of passenger cars.

Mission

The Logistic Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end vehicle logistics flow, from origin (China) to final delivery across Spain and the Iberian Peninsula. Unlike Transport-focused roles, this position ensures full visibility and control of the upstream and inbound logistics process, including production release, international shipment, port operations, PDI, and final distribution, guaranteeing vehicle readiness, compliance, and on-time delivery to support business needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control the full vehicle logistics flow from origin (China) to final delivery.
• Monitor shipment planning, vessel schedules, and international transport timelines.
• Act as the key link between origin teams, shipping lines, and local operations.
• Ensure alignment between production release, shipment, and market demand.
• Ensure smooth port operations, unloading, and handover processes.
• Anticipate and resolve port congestion, delays, or operational disruptions.
• Ensure all transport and shipping documentation is complete and accurate (BL, invoices, etc.).
• Oversee customs documentation and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Align with Transport teams for inland distribution planning.
• Coordinate with Sales to prioritize deliveries and meet customer commitments.
• Ensure vehicles are delivered on time to dealers, minimizing delays
• Oversee outsourced providers executing PDI and technical operations at port
• Ensure all vehicles meet technical and quality standards before release.
• Monitor vehicle condition upon arrival and manage damages or incidents.
• Damage Prevention & Quality Control.
• Monitor transport-related damages and ensure proper reporting and claims handling.
• Implement preventive measures with carriers to reduce incidents.
• Ensure vehicles are delivered in optimal condition, ready for dealer handover.
• Cover the other logistics areas like transport.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or similar.
• 5–10 years of experience in logistics, ideally with exposure to international supplychain / automotive.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics (shipping, ports, customs, PDI).
• Experience coordinating with international stakeholders (HQ, suppliers, shippinglines).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complexity and operational pressure.
• Fluent in English.
