- Responsible for processing accounting transactions to ensure that the KPIs related to these activities are achieved;
- Ensuring timely processing, recording & posting of journal entries and ensuring resolution of standard interface issues;
- Creation/ definition and execution of mass allocation journals, and recurring journals;
- Processing internal accounting documents (corrections, reclassifications etc.);
- Control the booking of the documents processed in order to assure the accuracy;
- Performing assigned reconciliation & resolution of reconciling items - reconciliation and analysis of the accounts balances at the end of the month, preparation of the Balance Sheet and bank reconciliation;
- Resolution of General Ledger enquiries;
- Archiving, Records Retention and Audit Support;
- Performing regular standard tasks but with the opportunity to vary work sequencing;
- Solving problems largely by precedent with referral to detailed instructions/ procedures;
- Responsible for activities assigned by the supervisor;
- Update processes and procedures as requested by supervisor by incorporating new information;
- Communicate with the supervisor to ensure both contractual and operational KPIs are met (responsibility of delivering data within agreed deadlines);
- Communicate with the client (including other internal departments), clients, vendors, banks or other external parties in relation to processed activities and solving issues;
- Develop good client relationships and good relations with the colleagues (within the project);
- Actively seek opportunities for Continuous Improvement initiatives in cooperation with Supervisor;
- Take responsibility for own professional development and growth;
