We are looking for a Innovation Analyst Technician to join our our Innovation team!


What you'll be rocking:


  • Ensure Project Continuity: Take ownership of ongoing analytical projects to ensure a seamless transition and maintain momentum during the maternity leave coverage period.
  • Analytical Leadership: Lead a team in the development, validation, and optimization of innovative analytical methods, with a primary focus on the characterization of injectable formulations.
  • Testing & Evaluation: Direct the planning and execution of complex analytical testing to evaluate new formulations, assess raw material suppliers, and conduct stability and degradation studies.
  • Technology Advancement: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for analytical technology advancement, leveraging team expertise to introduce novel analytical techniques and improve lab efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Drive the analytical characterization process from early-stage innovation through pilot scale, ensuring robust data delivery and seamless integration with the formulation (galenical) and process engineering teams.
  • Method Transfer Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for facilitating analytical method transfers to both in-house Quality Control (QC) labs and third-party testing facilities


What you bring to the table:


  • Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in analytical techniques for drug development (e.g., HPLC, UPLC, GC, Mass Spectrometry, particle size analysis), including hands-on experience with method development, validation, and complex troubleshooting.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Previous experience in pharmaceutical analytical development with a deep, practical understanding of ICH guidelines, cGMP, and industry best practices for analytical chemistry.


Educational milestone:


  • Advanced degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, with extensive experience in pharmaceutical analytical R&D.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate scientific data clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Quick Integration: Proven ability as a fast learner who can quickly adapt to established laboratory protocols, take over active project pipelines, and maintain high team morale as a temporary leader.
  • Project Management: Strong proficiency in project management, with a track record of successfully guiding complex analytical projects and meeting strict R&D timelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including formulation scientists, QA, and regulatory affairs.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of navigating changing project requirements, managing shifting priorities, and achieving ambitious deadlines during a fixed-term contract.
