Based in: Madrid

Open opportunity: Jr BESS Development Analyst

The selected professional will support the development of X-ELIO’s BESS capabilities by driving project approvals, stakeholder engagement, business case creation, and process optimization.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with the BESS Development team to enhance X-ELIO's battery energy storage system (BESS)
• capabilities and support the commercial team in creating business cases for storage projects.
• Coordinate with internal partners, consultants, and suppliers to prepare materials for executive committee and board-level approvals for projects in development, acquisitions, and off-take transactions.
• Engage with internal stakeholders across investment analysis, finance, M&A, engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment.
• Communicate key results to managers effectively through verbal, visual, and written formats.
• Assist the team by obtaining business models, automating KPI generation, and updating technical inputs for all models.

What do we need?

• Bs in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions in the renewable energy industry.
• Experience running revenue optimization models.
• Advanced ability to code in Python, PVSys, and Homer
• Advanced level of English and Spanish.
