Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer Intern to join our Attack on Titan Team of Tribe Products & Public Entities

You will be part of our IT Engineering community. You will learn about the ING Way of Working and our technology platforms, which enables our ING business to build application that reach millions of customers.

As an intern you will be allocated to one of our projects and be given the opportunity to contribute to our code base and make impact to our customers.

During your internship you will learn new technologies, new engineering methodologies and you will be invited to share your learnings and experiences with other passionate engineers.

You will be invited to join all the rituals and ceremonies of our squads and be treated equally. As such we look forward to your contributions.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will:

• Working in a DevOps squad on a global platform
• Working on cross-border solutions and providing services to ING worldwide
• Working on the Availability solutions within ING on a global scale, using Java 17 Spring Boot as the main source
• Our biggest expectation is that you’ll stay curious and keep learning
• You take on responsibility and in return, we’ll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself

• Proficiency in software development using Java
• Experience in software engineering using Spring Boot framework
• Secure and clean coding with knowledge of developing automated and unit tests
• Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
• Foster a collaborative scrum team environment and actively learn from your colleagues
