We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Economic and Market Analyst to join our Investment Strategy Team

Your role and work environment:

As a Senior Economic and Market Analyst you will:

• Contribute to the production of macroeconomic and financial market analysis to support the management teams, clients, and advisors in understanding the macroeconomic context and the development in financial markets and the performance of investment products in a clear and didactic manner.
• Coordinate the periodic preparation of strategic reports for executive teams and business areas, ensuring clarity, relevance, and usefulness.
• Collaborate closely with international teams (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany), participating in meetings and processes, and adopting global tools and products.
• Actively participate in the creation and delivery of client content: articles, videos, presentations, and other formats.
• Co-lead the development, maintenance, and oversight of the Macrobond database, ensuring its cross-functional usefulness across the bank.

• Deep knowledge of economics trends, financial markets, and investment products.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in macroeconomic and investment analysis.
• Spanish as a native tongue and full fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills and pedagogical ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way, promoting investment discipline, diversification, and calm in the face of volatility.
• Experience in dealing with media.
• Ability to work in dynamic and collaborative team environments.
• Client-oriented mindset and flexibility to adapt to new products, processes, and international contexts.
• Critical and proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Native Spanish speaker and full command of English (spoken and written).
• Previous experience in international environments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant market topics: artificial intelligence, energy, cryptocurrencies, among others.
