The Modelling Specialist supports and accelerates the global rollout of digital solutions for operational optimization, analytics, and decision-making in projects, and oversees database standardization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with Safety, Quality, Environment & Security Policy.
• Comply with policies, procedures and processes.
• Comply with client site procedures and requirements.
• Modeling and developing automated data-cleaning and processing tools using Python and Streamlit.
• Upload multiple raw datasets of thousands to millions of records.
• Instantly clean, validate, standardize, and enrich the data.
• Automatically detect and correct format issues, naming mismatches, null values, and outliers.
• Produce reliable outputs aligned with the requirements of predictive models.
• Save significant engineering time and eliminate manual Excel work.
• Onsite trials, deployment and follow up.
• Participate in data collections, conduct experiments and perform data analyses.
• Elaborate Value Proposition.
• Define specifications and daily work coordination of digital tools.
• Modeling, coordinate and implement projects in operations.
• Define strategies of downstream optimization programs.
• Carry out simulations and modelling of all related blasting phenomena and its consequences downstream.

Technical Competences

Education/Qualifications

• Mining, Geology, or Industrial Engineer, or related technology/engineering areas (e.g. Electrical/electronic engineer, industry 4.0).

Professional Experience

• At least two years of experience in construction, quarry or mining operations, or related technology companies or research centers.

Other skills (languages, IT, other technical knowledge)

• Technical knowledge in mining, especially in blasting and downstream operations.
• Technical knowledge in IT technologies (sensors, programming, automation, modeling, IA, etc.)
• Knowledge in programing languages is desirable (e.g. MATLAB, Phyton, IA)
• Fluent in English. Other languages are valued.
