Intern Finance (m/f) en Barcelona

You will be responsible to deliver quick and accurate support to the team during the month and especially on monthly closings. Your development plan includes working on many areas of the Finance organization such as AR, AP, Banks reconciliations, general accounting or Balance Sheet reconciliations. You will work in close collaboration with our European teams.

For this role we are looking to hire an Accounting Intern who will be an integral part of our growing team and who will support our Finance team responsible for Spain, Portugal and Greece.

This position is located in Barcelona. The employment offering will be limited to 1 year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end financial reports
  • Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation
  • Support balance sheet reconciliation
  • Data entry
  • Manage new standards for electronic invoicing with Public Administrations
  • Control of travel expenses
  • General admin tasks
  • Assist with month-end financial reports
  • General accounting support
  • Follow Danaher and Hach standards of quality in terms of processes and execution.

Qué es lo que pedimos

  • Pursuing a Bachelor degree
  • Experience is beneficial
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration, economics or management
  • First previous administrative experience in an international company
  • Structured, meticulous and data oriented
  • Autonomous, quality-conscious and motivated
  • Action oriented, strong sense of urgency and customer focused
  • Proficient knowledge of all MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Oracle valuable
  • Good English skills required

We are searching for a person with entrepreneurial spirit, excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation, as well as an ability to work in a results-driven team. Good organizational skills and priority management as well as fast execution of assigned tasks are required. Administrative skills combined with a good knowledge of operating systems are preferable.
