FIRM BACKGROUND

Roc360 is a financial services and asset management platform for residential property investors in the United States. 

Founded in 2014, Roc360 is headquartered in NYC. The firm has in excess of 450 employees globally across three continents with 35 employees located in a fast-growing office in Madrid (established in 2021 and located in Calle de Principe de Vergara, 112).

The firm’s primary business is providing Business Purpose Loans including residential transitional bridge loans (“RTL”) (including single and multi-family properties) and rental loans (including single property rentals and rental portfolios) to property investors, secured by property collateral in the US. The firm connects fragmented loan markets with institutional capital through a branchless network of third-party originators, brokers, and in-house sales teams to originate loans to property investors who buy, rehab, resell, and/or rent properties. 

The firm sells the loans it originates to third party institutional investors and investment vehicles managed by affiliates of Roc360 and provides loan servicing on an ongoing basis.

POSITION

We are seeking a Real Estate Closing Specialist located in the Madrid area to join our growing and fast-paced real estate closing department. The Real Estate Closing Specialist will work alongside Roc360’s Real Estate Counsel on closing related matters.

On a day-to-day basis, the Real Estate Closing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing, reviewing, and making decisions on real estate closings in the US.

The Real Estate Closing Specialist will work with a broad network of third parties (closing counsels, title companies etc) and several departments within the firm.

The Real Estate Closing Specialist must possess exemplary attention to detail, be self-motivated, have strong organizational skills and have the ability to make decisions independently, while managing risk and ensuring the quality and compliance with company and investor/buyer guidelines and standards is being met.

Responsibilities will include:

·      Working alongside Roc360’s Real Estate Counsel and Head of Closings, as well as the broader closing team, on all matters related to the real estate-legal department within the firm.

·      Overseeing and working with outside counsel on a high volume of daily loan closings.

·      Making risk assessments as it pertains to loan closings while ensuring matters are compliant with Roc360’s investor guidelines.

·      Collaborating with Roc360’s closing and credit team to ensure investor guidelines are being met, risk is being managed, files are moving through the process efficiently and the best possible customer experience is being conveyed.

·      Understand and appreciate the needs of clients, institutional capital providers and work collaboratively with the firm’s various other teams and departments.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

·      Fluency in English and the ability to work exclusively in English

·      BS/BA degree or higher, preferably in a related field such as Finance, Economics, Law, Real Estate or a similar quantitative discipline

. 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience

. Experience leading a team is preferable

·      A strong interest in real estate and finance. Demonstrated familiarity and experience with a real estate transaction is preferred.

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·      Strong time-management, organizational and execution skills.

·      Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment.

·      Team-oriented and highly collaborative personality.
