Functional Consultant – Large-Scale Rollout (Madrid, Hybrid)

Madrid, Spain | Hybrid (2 days per week on-site)

End Customer – 50+ locations

We are currently supporting a large end customer with over 50 locations who is embarking on a major rollout initiative—and they are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant to support the functional delivery of this transformation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a complex, multi-site environment, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

As a Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the rollout across multiple locations. You will work closely with business users, project teams, and developers to gather requirements, translate them into functional designs, and ensure smooth delivery across all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the functional stream of a multi-location rollout (50+ sites)
• Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders and key users
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
• Work closely with technical consultants and developers
• Participate in workshops, demos, and user training sessions
• Support data migration, UAT, and go-live activities
• Assist with change requests, documentation, and knowledge transfer
• Ensure best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Functional Consultant on medium to large-scale implementations
• Strong understanding of business processes (finance, operations, supply chain, or similar)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Solid technical understanding to collaborate effectively with developers
• Experience with workshops, requirements gathering, and functional documentation
• Comfortable working hybrid (2 days per week onsite in Madrid)
• Fluent in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English
