Associate, Business & Legal Affairs

Madrid (preferred) / Barcelona (open to).

At Youplanet, we work at the intersection of entertainment, creators, brands and digital culture. From influencer marketing to audiovisual production and film distribution, we partner with some of the most exciting talent and companies shaping the future of storytelling.

We are now building our in-house Business & Legal Affairs function, and we’re looking for an Associate, Business & Legal Affairs to join our team in Madrid.

This is a unique opportunity for a legal professional who wants to grow in a fast-paced, high-impact entertainment environment, working closely with creators, brands and content teams.

Your mission

To support Youplanet’s business by providing solid, agile and business-driven legal advice across our growing portfolio of projects, acting as a key partner for internal teams and external stakeholders. This role will report to the Director of the Business & Legal Affairs area.

What you’ll do

You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including:

• Influencer and talent agreements
• Production and development deals
• Distribution and licensing contracts
• Brand partnerships and sponsorship agreements

You will also:

• Provide day-to-day legal support to business, content, talent, corporate and HR teams
• Identify and manage legal risks while enabling business growth
• Handle multiple matters in parallel in a high-volume environment
• Collaborate with external counsel when needed

What we’re looking for

Must have:

• Professional-level English fluency (written & spoken) and Spanish (written & spoken).
• Law degree (or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience in entertainment law (law firm or in-house)
• Strong interest in entertainment, digital culture and the creator economy
• Autonomous, proactive and comfortable with high workload

Nice to have:

• Master’s in IP, Data Protection or Digital Law
• Experience in corporate matters
• Background in fast-growing or creative environments
