Who are we looking for?

We are actively looking for profile in vocational training in electronics or similar to perform various tasks among all three FOSSA’s segments.

At FOSSA we develop, manufacture and validate satellites, payload, ground stations and user terminals.

You will be able to participate in the different steps of the development cycle for all our productions and assemblies for the ground, space and user segments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate technical equipment, assisting multiple engineering departments.
• Undertake routine maintenance tasks, fault finding and basic repairs of electronic devices at module and component level.
• Solder conventional and surface mount components.
• Interpret and apply all drawings, instructions and documentation related to the manufacturing of a product.
• Assemble mechanical structures.

Profile:

• Vocational training in electronics or other technical disciplines.
• Experienced in electronics manufacturing and testing.
• Confident soldering surface mount components down to 0402 sized.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.
• Communication abilities in English.

Preferably:

• Has a keen eye for detail and looks for opportunities for continuous improvement.
