Job Opportunity: Editorial Project Assistant – Reptiles

We are launching an exciting new editorial project focused on reptiles and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and organize data, with attention to detail and strong Excel and database skills.
• Search for and source information from external references to support editorial tasks.
• Draft and edit texts and emails in English with a high level of accuracy, including book-related content and professional communication.
• Coordinate with international collaborators and maintain smooth, timely communication.
• Send follow-up emails and track pending tasks to keep the project on schedule.
• Assist in planning, structuring, and monitoring the project workflow.

Requirements:

• Excellent written English and comfortable spoken English (minimum Advanced level; native-level proficiency preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of reptiles is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, databases, and general Office tools.
• Solid skills in Adobe Acrobat (knowledge of InDesign is a plus).
• Interest in editorial work and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
• Capacity to work independently, staying self-directed to manage workload and maintain steady progress on long-term tasks.
