Would you like to work with the latest technology in the automotive sector?

Bertrandt aims to strengthen the Infotainment team in the automotive sector with an engineer responsible for expanding management capabilities. This team manages several projects for one of our clients in the automotive industry, where you will be responsible for ensuring the correct implementation of a function in an electronic control unit of the vehicle.

Tasks:

• Maximum expert in their function and its state of the art.
• Generation, management, and monitoring of the function’s specification and its changes.
• Management of function-specific resources (e.g., dedicated teams).
• Participation in consortium and brand-specific activities and meetings.
• Planning of priorities within their function.
• Escalation of critical issues.
• Representation of the function and its specific releases in all relevant areas.
• Collaboration with the Project Leader (PL) in the technical review of supplier offers.
• Technical support during the drafting of the onboard literature describing the function.
• Being involved in everything concerning the function in future projects, reviewing and granting approval.
• Preparation of documentation and collection of relevant information for decision-making on points related to the project, with essential communication/interpretation of documentation in other languages (German/English)
• Reporting on the function’s status. Planning, monitoring, validation strategy, and issues with the validation team.
• Performing test drives to check the obtained results. Management and analysis of function-related issues.
• Technical knowledge of function-specific tools. Responsible for generating and transferring documentation for onboarding new team members.
• Tasks and responsibilities specific to each function.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Telecommunications/Aeronautical Engineering.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector.
• Languages: High level of English required; German desirable.
• Office tools: MS Office Suite, MS Project. Knowledge of VW consortium tools desirable.
• Driving license B.
• Teamwork and quick adaptation to new working methods.
• Flexibility.
