Senior Back End Developer - Eleven Paths

This is part of our daily work and we really think that one way to improve our software is to identify the components that can be reused across the different products that are part of our portfolio.

SandaS team is a very professional and passionate group of people devoted to implement tools whose objective is to help the Telefónica Global Security Unit to offer our best in Managed Security Services.

Do you want to be part of a team that is responsible for building the platform components that made up the underpinning solution over which our Security Operation Centers will manage the security of our clients? We're looking for senior engineer who are excited about helping us deliver this mission.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Participating in component architecture definition and implementation.
• Ensuring the fulfillment of conceptual integrity, high cohesion, low coupling, simplicity and limited accidental complexity.
• Write clean code to evolve current components and develop other news.
• Perform code and architecture reviews.
• Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams using Agile Methodologies.
• Support and perform other activities (QA, Devops) when required by the context.
• Find time to play, experiment, explore and propose new ideas.

Experience:

• More than 5 years of demonstrable experience in backend systems development.
• Very good programming and architecture skills are required.
• Experienced developer in distributed systems.
• Experience designing deployment architecture is a bonus.
• High experience working with HTTP protocol and defining and documenting REST API’s.
• Understanding of security of systems and network issues.
• Experienced developer in backend using Java and/or Python.
• Experienced developer in Unit Tests.
• Candidates will be able to use Linux systems.
• Experience in Javascript is a bonus.
• Proactive, autonomous, fast learner, team worker.
• Critical thinking  and positive mindset.
• Able to wear many hats.
• Eager to refactor and improve existing code when things get a little too hairy.
